In addition to an authority dock and boat slips for summer residents, Tankar also has a popular guest harbour. The harbour is protected by a breakwater, and it features fifteen boat slips, seven of which are equipped with electricity. The draught in the harbour is three meters. There are no fuel services on the island. The nearest fuel stations are in the guest harbours of Mustakari and Ykspihlaja.
