Conference hotels

Our smiling staff organises each event with a big heart. Meeting rooms Neristan, Halkokari, Tankar, Majakka, Laituri and Miilu in Original Sokos Hotel Kaarle are ideal for training events, meetings, evening parties and other events for small and large groups alike. The facilities can be converted for events of 10–120 people. In addition to the basic equipment, all meeting rooms have a laptop, a video projector and wireless network connection.

The magnificent Laituri (”pier”) and Majakka (”lighthouse”) cabinets on the hotel’s fourth floor are perfect venues for successful corporate events, important negotiations as well as presentable sauna evenings. In addition, there is a sympathetic Miilu sauna cabinet for smaller events.

The Sauna from Finland network has awarded hotel Kaarle with an Authentic Finnish Sauna Experience certificate, as proof that the saunas take into account all the core values of the Finnish sauna, such as cleanliness and relaxation.

Hotel Kokkola has two meeting rooms and a new conference room called Keinula. Wi-Fi, a flipchart and note-taking materials are available in all our meeting rooms. There is also a video projector and screen in cabinets 1 and 3. Keinula has a large TV screen.

The number of people in meeting rooms stated here complies with the current Covid-19 regulations.

All meeting rooms are suitable for persons with disabilities and there is a disabled toilet nearby.

Keinula

This colourful and inspiring space with six rocking chairs and a 70-inch TV is suitable for creative meetings, small group meetings and interviews, for attending streamed trainings, and watching concerts and live sports. The room is located on the hotel’s second floor and has a private toilet.

Cabinet 1

Room with individual table seats. The seating can be easily modified considering the safety distances. Room for max. 10 people. The room is situated on the 2nd floor. Coffee buffet nearby.

Cabinet 3

Room with individual table seats. The seating can be easily modified considering the safety distances. Room for max. 20 people. An adjoining breakfast room can be used, for example, for presentations or group work. The room is located on the street level and is excellent for breakfast events or buffet meals for groups.

Catering

Coffee services and buffet meals can be ordered through us (meals for a minimum of 10 people). Our premises have an alcohol serving licence.

Hotel Seurahuone offers party and meeting venues for a variety of occasions. The refurbished Donner is a rental venue for up to 50 people where you can bring your own drinks and catering. Choose between fantastic party lighting or conference lighting.

The meeting rooms Kallio (max. 12 people) and Rautavaara (max. 60 people) and sauna cabinet (max. 20 people) are located on the third floor of the hotel.
